A SETTING TO INSPIRE
Lutheranch Camp and Conference Center is located one hour west of Atlanta, near Tallapoosa, Georgia. With 519 acres and two private lakes, our site offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, campfires, horseback riding, low ropes course, archery and more.
Beginning at 1:00 pm on Tuesday and concluding by 11:00 am on Thursday, the retreat workshop schedule will include time for presentations by the Bubbas, extensive work on the texts for the four Sundays in Advent (Year B) as well as ideas for the Christmas Eve/Christmas Day services, 5 meals prepared by the excellent staff, and lots of “porch time” — that indescribable thing that happens when you get together with other preachers of a feather.
Costs for the entire experience are:
$260 with a double-occupancy room
$340 with a single-occupancy room
Snacks and drinks for break times, as well as all workshop materials, are also included in the price.
