Prayers for you both, your families, and for your congregations. I'm praying for safety for all who are in harms way and for the many emergency workers, FEMA, and state & local workers that they would be kept safe, especially during the aftermath and clean-up efforts. May God bless and keep you all. -k
I have been so worried about you and all of those facing the intense power of Milton. Living in the Midwest, I cannot imagine the anxiety as you wait to face a hurricane. Please do what you need to do to keep your families and parishioners and neighbors safe. The rest of us will continue to pray and we will also find our way through our sermon writing this week. While your thoughts and conversation are a joy (and education) of my week, please know that I and all of your faithful listeners are much more concerned about your wellbeing. Be well...feel blessed by the Holy Presence...and know that you are loved by many. ~mjs
Lifting you up in prayer Delmer and John, as well as your families and congregations and all who are in the path of this terrible hurricane. May the peace of Christ keep you and give you peace.
Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers - that help will find its way to those in need and those who need to help can find those who need them. Be safe. Be strong. God is with you

For, Pete’s sake. Stay dry, boys! Keep your heads down! Protect your families! We are praying like crazy.
I live near Gainesville. Just chill and crack open a cold one!
